Classroom Spelling Application helps children as young as three learn how to spell. Children are motivated through positive reinforcement in the form of a fun balloon popping game (optional) offered after each successfully "written" word.

Fun and educational app
This app is a great resource for teaching children to spell. It has a multitude of built in spelling lists or you can create your own. I do wish that all spelling lists had a phonics option.
I like a lot about this app. I think it is engaging and user friendly for teachers and kids. My only complaint is that I would love to keep track of my students individual progress. I use it in a center and I check in to see that they are working, but I cant really monitor progress. I think it is a great review tool.
I like all the options with this app and all the different words you can select to study and spell. Its nice to have the cheering sound for correct responses. Lots of words already included make this a good app.
Offers plenty of practice with different spelling patterns. Improvement could be made on phonics though--inaccurate sounds for some letters, such as /r/. Overall provides plenty of opportunities to learn/practice spelling. Also gives the teacher/parent the ability to create own lists.
